Alyssa is majoring Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Marketing at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.

Alyssa currently works at Publix in Moody, Alabama. She has worked at Publix for over three years. Alyssa is cross trained in three departments at Publix: Produce, Bakery, and Customer Service. Alyssa is currently training as a Customer Service Staff Member, further advancing her knowledge on problem-solving, team-leadership, and overall customer satisfaction. During Alyssa’s time at Publix in 2023, her store won the Customer Service Excellence Award for the Atlanta Division.

During her time in college, Alyssa cheered on her Gamecocks while being a part of the Cheer & Mascot Program. This program taught her teamwork and professionalism. Alyssa is currently serving the SGA in the Presidential Cabinet as Director of Athletic Engagement as an advocate for student athletes. Alyssa is on the Executive Board as Secretary for College Republicans of America on her campus. This club has given her many opportunities to meet statewide officials. Alyssa is also a member of Public Relations Student Society of America, Collegiate Legislature, Young Americans for Freedom, and Baptist Campus Ministries.

After graduation, Alyssa will be seeking a job within a corporation’s communication and marketing department.
